The market for non-invasive body contouring procedures has become more popular now than ever before. People want that sculpted look, but they don’t want to undergo surgery. Two procedures that are popular when it comes to body sculpting are SculpSure and CoolSculpting. Both products have made a name for themselves as being effective and providing unique results to their patients. Oftentimes, these products are compared side-by-side. However, there are some benefits that SculpSure provides to its clients that are not seen with CoolSculpting. Learning about the differences between SculpSure vs CoolSculpting will help you see why SculpSure is the best treatment.

Safety is the first thing that we examine when doing the side-by-side comparison because as much as patients want good results, no one wants to have good results come at the risk of them being able to have a safe procedure. Regarding SculpSure vs CoolSculpting, both have been shown to be safe. They’ve both been reviewed by the FDA and have received FDA-approval for their use.

There have been some complaints about CoolSculpting because it can leave patients feeling numb. The principle behind CoolSculpting is controlled cooling. So, this means that the fat cells are destroyed by bringing them down to a cold temperature. This eventually causes the treatment area to feel numb. Unfortunately, for some patients, it can be days or weeks until they regain sensation in the area that was treated. This is a possibility that does not exist with the SculpSure procedure.

The next thing we want to look at are the results. The FDA did its own evaluation, and according to the FDA, CoolSculpting is able to remove around 22 percent of the fat in the area that is treated. SculpSure, on the other hand, has been cleared by the FDA to remove up to 24 percent of fat in the treated area. Two percent may not seem like a lot, but really it can make a difference in having noticeable fat reduction and something that is not as noticeable as you would like.

Regarding SculpSure vs CoolSculpting, SculpSure is also the clear winner when it comes to comfort. Patients say that the procedure is completely comfortable and does not require any numbing. Something that is unique to SculpSure is the ability of the medical professional performing the treatment to adjust the warming level during the procedure. So, if you feel that a particular area is getting too warm, then the laser panel can be turned down.

Both CoolSculpting and SculpSure have benefits. However, if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, SculpSure has been shown to be the clear winner.
