Our facial rejuvenation practice in Newton continuously enhances and innovates our services to provide you with more treatment alternatives. One of the procedures that can give you a more youthful appearance is called Laser Genesis. It is a treatment that can give you smoother skin and finer pores with only little to no downtime at all!
Here are common questions we have answered for our patients!
How does a Laser Genesis treatment work?
The treatment makes use of a laser light that is designed to target the dermis, which is the part of our skin where collagen is produced. Just like a day at the beach, the laser gently heats this skin layer to allow new collagen to grow over time. This action results to a more even skin tone and smoother skin texture.
What can Laser Genesis do?
Apart from improving the facial skin’s overall look and feel, Laser Genesis also works well on the neck and the chest. The treatment also works well in reducing wrinkles and fine lines in the face and evening out skin tones. It smooths out ruddy complexions and decreases facial redness as well.
How will my skin look and feel after the procedure?
During the treatment, your face may feel a little warm, just like what sunbathing feels like. Then again, it is a comfortable procedure and most patients could fall asleep through the entire process. Even after the treatment, the warm sensation in the treated area could still be present and last for about 30 minutes.
