The Cosmetic Cocktail
By Slone Mathieu

A cocktail typically consists of a distilled alcohol (for kick), mixed with liqueur, juice, fruit, dairy or spices (for refined flavor), and finished with a garnish (for looks).  Cocktail recipes vary according to bartender and region, and it is the same when it comes to skin care.  We may not be able to serve up the fountain of youth in a tall glass with ice – in the world of beverages that’s called a “FIX” – but we can certainly offer you a custom blended treatment plan to address all of your cosmetic needs.
Our younger clientele has a tendency to skip the blend, and go straight for the shots.  In the beauty business that would be a focused treatment package designed to address a single concern.  However, as you get older your skin care needs become more complex.  Your emotional, financial, and physical maturity are primed for a proper drink.  You still want the kick, but palette and appearance become equally important.

In terms of the aging process we want to offer a little taste to the various layers of your skin.  We have endless options when it comes to mixing, and many of these therapies can be offered with no downtime or discomfort.  Consider it a lunch time treatment cocktail.  And if you can remember the days when day drinking was the norm, then you are probably the perfect candidate for this approach.

TOP-SHELF COSMETIC COCKTAIL RECIPE:

For Kick – Try a a non-invasive procedure, like ThermiSmooth, to rebuild sagging skin and redefine facial contours.  A handheld device delivers radio frequency energy, heating the skin to a precise temperature and creating an inflammatory response.  This process stimulates your fibroblasts to produce new collagen and firm the deeper tissue.  Recommended 3 treatments; 3 weeks apart.
For Flavor – Couple that with a little Botox for preventative measures, and your favorite filler for fine lines and added definition.  Try the Juvederm XC to smooth moderate to severe wrinkles.  It is the only hyaluronic acid filler FDA approved to last up to one year.
For Looks – Garnish with glowing skin.  Sit for a consult and leave with the perfect home care regimen to address surface issues and prolong the results of your in office treatments. We do ask for a consultation fee to reserve your appointment date. This is for Dr Russo's or our providers time/recommendations with you or you can apply it towards your treatment. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy.
