To qualify, an in person consultation with our nurse is required where you discuss your weight loss goals, expectations, the personalized treatment plan and next steps to get started. Our practice requires a set of lab work to be completed prior to the start of the medication. Following the lab work, typically all patients will start with a 22 week program under the supervision of our nurse.

You can expect:

• Weekly semaglutide injections – These can be done at home
• Monthly office visits to track progress and titrate dosing of the medication for the appropriate weight loss while minimizing side effects
• Dietary counseling
